Sprouted Garbanzo Bean Hummus
Yields 6-8 servings

1 C. PureLiving Sprouted Garbanzo Beans

1/2 C. tahini

4 cloves garlic, grated or finely minced

juice of 1 large lemon

1/2 tsp. Shiloh Farms Himalayan Pink Salt, or to taste

1 tsp. cumin powder, or to taste


1.  Cook garbanzo beans according to package directions, until well-done and very soft; drain, reserving 1/4 C. of the cooking liquid

2.  Add cooked garbanzo beans, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and spices to food processor; process until smooth, slowly adding reserved cooking liquid (or water) until desired consistency is reached

3.  Taste and adjust seasoning as needed; serve with vegetables, pita chips, or crackers, and a drizzle of olive oil, if desired


For a little extra heat, try adding a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce while processing.
