APPLE-WALNUT SPROUTED OATMEAL BAKE

Baked oatmeal makes it super-easy to have a hearty, wholesome breakfast any morning of the week. Our apple-walnut version is packed with sprouted rolled oats, slightly sweetened with maple sugar, and baked to golden-brown perfection. We’ve even added just a little of our Sprouted Amaranth Flour for an extra boost of protein that’s sure to keep you full and satisfied all morning long!
Ingredients:
Dry:
3 C. PureLiving Sprouted Rolled Oats
2 Tbsp. PureLiving Sprouted Amaranth Flour (optional; want an even bigger protein-boost? try subbing in our Sprouted Lentil Flour!)
1/2 C. Shiloh Farms Organic Maple Sugar
1/2 C. chopped Shiloh Farms Organic Walnuts
1/2 C. chopped Shiloh Farms Organic Apple Rings
2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Shiloh Farms Himalayan Pink Salt
Wet:
1 C. milk
2 large organic eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 C. unsweetened applesauce
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°
2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together dry ingredients; set aside
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients; add to the dry ingredients and mix well
4. Pour mixture into greased (or buttered) 9×9 baking dish; if desired, sprinkle top with additional chopped walnuts
5. Bake in preheated oven 40-50 minutes, or until center is set and top is golden brown
6. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving; serve with milk or yogurt
